Sophia Tomany is Centre Assistant at the Centre for International Security. Before joining the Hertie School, she was a Research Assistant at the ZOE Institute for Future-fit Economies, where she worked on an EU sustainability policy project and the fellowship programme. She has a Master’s degree in Public Policy with a specialisation in Conflict Studies and Management, from the Willy Brandt School at the University of Erfurt and a Bachelor’s degree in Politics, Psychology, Law, and Economics (PPLE) from the University of Amsterdam.
