Inken von Borzyskowski is Assistant Professor of Political Science at Florida State University. She received her PhD at the University of Wisconsin–Madison in 2014. She also studied at Duke University, Freie Universität Berlin, and the European University Institute. Her research focuses on the domestic politics of international relations with an emphasis on international organisations and their effect on domestic conflict and elections. Her book manuscript examines the effect of international democracy assistance on election violence (Cornell University Press 2019). She also has a project on exiting from international organisations (IOs), with papers examining the causes and consequences of IO membership suspensions and withdrawals.
