Samantha Whitley is a research associate at the Centre for International Security. Her work focuses on nuclear weapons, transatlantic foreign and security policies, and military alliances. She earned a dual Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and German Studies from Furman University and completed a Master’s degree in International Affairs at the Hertie School in 2024, where she received the International Security Policy scholarship. Her professional background includes a Fulbright Fellowship in Germany, as well as internships with the European Parliament, various non-profit organizations, and the European American Chamber of Commerce.
