Women in culture and media: A European comparison

A research team at the Centre for Cultural Policy, headed by Helmut K. Anheier, is carrying out a comprehensive survey of the role of women in art, culture and media industry in selected European countries. The project aims to position the German situation in an international comparison and to learn from experiences of other countries in the sense of “best practice”. After a preliminary quantitative and qualitative investigation, experts from the researched countries will be invited to a panel discussion in Berlin (Spring 2017). At the end of the project, the results of the research are presented in a practice-oriented report, taking into account the lessons learned during the panel discussion as well as an online exchange with country experts.
