Change starts with people...
It takes the right team to make Brazil's public administration fit for the future. To successfully manage challenges like the digitalisation of public services and to open the door for innovative solutions, Brazil’s public sector leaders must prioritise human capital development and drive cultural change from within.
Republica.org and Hertie School Executive Education have teamed up to offer tailor-made training opportunities for leaders who will build tomorrow's public sector teams in Brazil.
Tuition fees are covered by the programme.

On day 1, we will discuss core topics of HR management such as selection and recruitment processes. Examples from different national contexts will be taken into account. We will also examine current approaches to enhancing staff motivation and engagement in the public sector.
Day 2 will be dedicated to trends in human resources management that have been reinforced and accelerated by the cv-19 outbreak: Challenges and opportunities related to the concept of new work, the quest for a digital innovation culture and the teams and skills needed for these transformation processes will be at the centre of our discussions.
Change processes will also challenge you as HR manager or team leader. In the second part of the day we will therefore concentrate on ways to unfold your full leadership potential by systematically building and leveraging your sources of power.
How can we develop future robust decisions and policies in a volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous (VUCA) world? On day 3 we will explore different strategic foresight methodologies and tools in preparation of a small foresight exercise that you will be asked to prepare over the following day.
You will have time to apply the newly acquired foresight skills to a concrete example. We will discuss your experience and results in class the following day.
We will conclude the seminar with a de-briefing session on the individual foresight case studies and your experience during the preparation process.
