Drafting a speech or presentation means planning communication. It requires levelling one’s own intentions (information, persuasion, entertainment) with the need, expectation or even capacity of the audience. This is all the more challenging when you are addressing a heterogeneous party. In this course participants learn how to gain the information necessary and how to anticipate the situation of the presentation or speech. They practice structuring the script and wording key messages, compelling arguments, and formulating clear argumentations. We discuss creativity techniques as well as different manuscript concepts. Many exercises assure that every approach can be put to test.
