The purpose of this seminar is to give Hertie School students a broad introduction to the potential for podcasting in their careers, while leaving with some critical tools for producing podcasts in the future. More and more companies are using podcasts not only for marketing and client acquisition, but for in-house training and building authority within their fields. NGOs, INGOS and private consulting firms are becoming more aware of the potential impact of podcasts and academics are utilising podcasts to cohesively and conveniently share their research. Especially in the era of Covid-19, many conferences are exploring new ways of bringing their content to the public with continued social distancing measures - and podcasts have found a whole new audience.
In this workshop, we'll be touching on our company's core modules of Planning your podcast, Hosting and interview skills, Recording from home/editing and Marketing. The main goal for the workshop is to take participants through the basics of podcasting with a focus on podcasting for policy and research.
