Executive Seminar

This course introduces participants to the management challenges faced by international organisations. It focuses on the United Nations and how it manages humanitarian, peacekeeping and other operations. It also analyses case studies of public-private partnerships in security and development, zooming in on a number of cases ranging from peacekeeping to finance and development.

The course provides necessary Information for positions where knowledge of international organisations is required. Participants will critically reflect and evaluate reform processes in international organisations. They will understand the changing landscape of global governance and will gain a better understanding of the promises and pitfalls of reforming international organisations.
