Thirdly, the course investigates the discourse surrounding the conflict, often termed as "the conflict over the conflict," scrutinizing why actors worldwide engage in discussions about a conflict in which they may not have direct involvement.

Lastly, we will analyze policy considerations, assessing the array of international strategies adopted by various stakeholders in addressing and managing the conflict both historically and in the present day.
