Amanda Panella holds a Master of International Affairs with a specialisation in trade and finance at the Hertie School. Prior to joining the Hertie School, she completed a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a Bachelor of Science in Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness at Virginia Commonwealth University. She also spent a semester at Masaryk University in Brno. She has worked as a Project Assistant at Apolitical and completed internships as a Budget Formulation Research Assistant at the U.S. Department of the Treasury and as a Writer at the Borgen Project. Amanda has a keen interest in working on international security and is especially passionate about research on right-wing terrorism and violence.
