Mathilda Blume studied international affairs at the Hertie School with a specialisation in finance and trade. Prior to joining the Hertie School she completed her Bachelor in Liberal Arts and Sciences with a major in world politics at Leiden University College The Hague (LUC) and spent a semester abroad at Peking University. Alongside her studies, she worked in project management and business development at the digital agency MVP Factory. In this role, she was involved in several public innovation projects, striving to enable digitalisation in the public sector. Besides completing internships in several global start-ups as well as NGOs, Mathilda has recently spent several months working at the German Chamber of Commerce in Taipei. There she focused on the renewable energy sector and the automotive sector and also consulted German investors in Taiwan.
