Carmina Dietrich holds a Bachelor of Science in International Business from Maastricht University and spent a semester abroad at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. At the Hertie School she specialised in policy analysis with a focus on the intersection of data science, the governance of the data economy and public administration. Her professional experience includes working in the division for artificial intelligence, data economy and blockchain and in the division for digital economy and start-ups of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy. Carmina also gained work experience at the German American Chambers of Commerce in San Francisco and the German Council on Foreign Relations (DGAP) as well as in the private sector at a management consultancy and at Siemens.
