Fabian Masarwa specialised in labour and digital policy during his dual degree programme with Bocconi University. Before joining the Hertie School, he completed a Bachelor of Arts in Politics and Law at the University of Münster. His professional experience includes working for the German Trade Union Confederation (DGB) and the Social Democratic Party of Germany (SPD). In addition, he has completed internships in the European Parliament, the German Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs and a Berlin-based public affairs consultancy firm. He was last employed as Policy Officer for the digital policy think tank D64 – Zentrum für digitalen Fortschritt.
