Giovanna Tanda holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and International Relations from Roma Tre University in Italy. Giovanna developed a strong interest in international trade after her year abroad at Freie Universität in Berlin. At Hertie School and during her academic exchange at the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva, she deepened her knowledge about the dynamics within financial institutions and in innovation and pursued a Master of International Affairs with a specialisation in finance and trade. Alongside her studies, she worked in the equity financial field and she currently works as a Project Manager for the NGO Pen Paper Peace. She also worked for the Prime Minister’s Office in Italy on the Open Government Partnership.
