Hanna Börgmann specialised in security studies and cyber politics during her studies at the Hertie School. Prior to joining the Hertie School, she completed a Bachelor of Arts in European Studies at Maastricht University with distinction and took part in an exchange semester at Seoul National University in South Korea. Her professional experience includes the international programme of the German Startups Association where she worked on a project funded by the German Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs and Energy that systematically connected the Israeli start-up scene with the German economy. Furthermore, she completed an internship at the German Federal Academy for Security Policy (BAKS) where she organised transdisciplinary workshops and seminars in the field of security policy for policymakers from different backgrounds.
