Hannah Hückstädt specialised in foreign policy, development and human rights as well as European Union (EU) governance during her studies at the Hertie School. Prior to this, she completed a Bachelor of Laws in European Law at Maastricht University, including an exchange semester at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile in Santiago, Chile. She gained her initial professional experience during an internship at the German Bundestag (Committee on Legal Affairs and Consumer Protection), and as Political Affairs Stagiaire at the Delegation of the European Union to Mexico where she worked in particular on topics of democracy, rule of law and human rights. During her studies at the Hertie School, Hannah spent her Professional Year with the communications and public affairs consultancy APCO worldwide serving a broad array of clients from the public and private sector.
