Johanna Blech holds a Master of International Affairs from the Hertie School, where she specialised in security studies and sustainability. During her master’s degree, she completed an exchange semester at the Institut Barcelona d’Estudis Internacionals (IBEI) in Barcelona. Prior to joining the Hertie School, she completed a Bachelor of Science in International Business Administration at the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management and spent two exchange semesters at the University of California, Santa Barbara. Her professional experience includes public sector consulting at KPMG, where she helped advise a ministry on its digitalisation strategy. Furthermore, she interned at the German development agency GIZ in international services in Eschborn.
