Leon Ottmüller specialised in policy analysis, digitalisation and fiscal policy during his studies at the Hertie School. Prior to joining the Hertie School, he completed a Bachelor of Arts in Philopsophy and Economics at the University of Bayreuth and KU Leuven. His professional experience includes public sector consulting at PD, consulting on strategic digitalisation and infrastructure projects. Leon completed a Professional Year at the German Federal Ministry for Labour and Social Affairs, working on international labour politics in the International Labour Organization (ILO) as well as the G7 and G20. He also contributed to the ILO Centenary Declaration for the Future of Work. Prior to joining the Hertie School, Leon worked in several positions in European politics, focusing on digital, financial and industrial policy.
