Marcela Agudelo specialised in public management, development and implementation of social projects and citizen empowerment during her studies at the Hertie School. Prior to joining the Hertie School, she completed a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and a Bachelor of Science in Anthropology at the Universidad de los Andes in Colombia. Her professional experience includes assisting the Delegate for Peace and the Protection of the Rights of Victims at the General Inspector’s Office of Colombia, on matters relating to the implementation of the national law for the victims of the armed conflict in Colombia, as well as completing an internship with the International Center for Transitional Justice, where she contributed to the participation of civil society in the peace process that was ongoing at the time.
