Martin Streichardt completed his Bachelor of Science in Economics at the University of Cologne. During his dual degree in public policy at the Hertie School and in economics and management of government and international organisations at Bocconi University he focused on trade, economic policy and digital governance. He has worked for Oxera, an economics consultancy specialising in competition issues, where he assisted with antitrust damages cases as well as risk and compliance assessments. During an internship at the German Marshall Fund of the United States, he contributed to a policy programme on migration and international cooperation. Furthermore, he has advised Grüner Wirtschaftsdialog, a green business association, on instruments for industrial decarbonisation and data platform design.
