Maximilian Lobbes specialised in international finance and trade policies during his studies at the Hertie School. In addition, he pursued his interest in public administration reform. He completed a Bachelor in Social and Political Sciences at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and spent a semester abroad at King’s College London. Maximilian has combined professional experience from both the public and private sectors. He worked as a graduate research assistant at the WZB Berlin Social Science Center in the field of global governance and gained experience, knowledge and insights in the political department of the German Embassy in London during Brexit. At Deloitte Deutschland’s risk advisory unit, he engaged in strategic foresight, trend research and scenario analysis for public and private sector clients.
