Nadia Perez specialised in policy analysis, development and monitoring and evaluation of public programmes during her studies at the Hertie School. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from the Universidad del Rosario in Colombia. Prior to her master’s studies, she worked for three years for the Colombian government, doing research and knowledge management in areas related to the peace process and reintegration of ex-combatants into civil life. She also gained professional experience at the Organization of American States in Washington DC, where she worked on qualitative research projects. In Berlin, she joined Cosmonauts & Kings, a start-up for political communications, where she worked part-time in the data and analytics team.
