Richard Marks is a dual degree student with Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs where he has focused his studies in four fields: international security, finance, trade and Asian studies. In 2019, Richard was a programme assistant for the International Fund for Agriculture Development’s Washington DC office, where he worked to secure congressional funding for international agricultural projects. Prior to this, Richard taught global affairs and academic writing in Jakarta, Indonesia. Additionally, between 2014 and 2016, Richard worked for the Peace Corps as an Education Development Volunteer in Indonesia where he developed educational techniques with local educators to improve teaching methodology. He also promoted U.S. policy in Belgium as an Executive Intern at the U.S. Embassy.
