Yannic Remme specialised in security and sustainability during his studies at the Hertie School. Prior to joining the Hertie School, he completed a Bachelor of Laws in European and International Law from Maastricht University. His professional experience includes several years of working on European affairs for an independent non-profit organisation in Berlin committed to promoting values-based leadership and open discourse on society, policy and global challenges. He also has experience in the international development sector, having worked in Colombia, primarily on projects advancing reforms in the public education sector. Yannic speaks German, English and Spanish and has a basic command of French. He takes great interest in international conflict management and peace processes.
