Seminars and Certificates
Our seminars and skills trainings (two to four days each) introduce professionals to current practices in public management, leadership and governance. They allow them to sharpen their skills and offer a forum for exchange at the interface of the public, private and non-profit sectors. Participants can register for single seminars and skills trainings based upon their professional needs and scheduling requirements.
All credits are transferable to an Executive Certificate or the Executive MPA.

Executive certificates provide a practical solution for professionals seeking to improve their skills and expand their network. By combining selected seminars, participants can choose between seven Hertie School certificates and two certificates in cooperation with ESCP Europe (see section "Joint Executive certificates" below).
Each certificate requires participants to successfully complete three seminars/workshops and one skills training. To sucessfully conclude a certificate programme participants complete seminar grading requirements and follow-up assignments. With a certificate, participants earn 11 ECTS (European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System) credits.
Credits can be transferred to the Executive Master of Public Administration programme, should participants consider enrolling at a later stage. Tuition fees paid for the seminar or certificate programme can be offset against the Executive Master tuition fees.

Hertie School-ESCP Europe Certificate Series
The Hertie School - ESCP Europe Certificate Series is a set of unique short-term executive programmes for managers working at the intersection of business, politics and civil society. Certificates each consist of three to four seminars (with 9-10 days in total), and address issues related to general management such as leadership, strategy and decision-making. Most seminars take place on an annual basis, either at ESCP Business School (Berlin Campus) or at the Hertie School.
Each certificate requires participants to successfully complete all seminars within two years. Credits can be transferred to ESCP Business School's Executive MBA programme and Hertie School's Executive MPA programme.

- Executive Certificates (9-12 days/4 courses) EUR 7,560 per certificate (EUR 7,700 if certificate includes a workshop)
