What is it?

The Hertie School offers up to 10 partial scholarships for MPP, MIA, MDS and Executive MPA students funded by FIDERH.

The Fondo para el Desarrollo de Recursos Humanos (FIDERH), the federal trust managed by the Bank of Mexico, provides loans for graduate students. The target of the partnership between the Hertie School and FIDERH is to provide financial assistance for talented Mexican students through a joint loan-tuition fee support programme. Students funding their studies with the support from FIDERH can receive a 25% partial scholarship.

Who is it for?

This partnership programme is for Mexican students funding their studies with a loan from FIDERH who wish to pursue a degree in public policy, data science, international affairs or public administration at the Hertie School.

How to apply

  • First, submit a standard application to the MPP, MIA, MDS or Executive MPA programme.

  • Upon receiving an admission offer, you will be invited to access the Funding Application. Please make sure to indicate that you are applying for FIDERH while completing the application. You will have two weeks to apply for scholarships.

  • Apply to FIDERH within their application window.

  • Students who are offered a place for full-time graduate studies at the Hertie School and who are awarded a loan from FIDERH will be consider for a 25% partial scholarship.
