Julia Stamm is the founder and CEO of The Futures Project, a pioneering international initiative for thinking about and shaping the future of mankind and our planet, as well as for examining the positive role that innovation and technology can play in this respect. She has over ten years of management and leadership experience in national and international academic institutions and international organisations, such as the European Cooperation in Science and Technology (COST) and the European Commission. She is an Adjunct Senior Fellow at the Centre for Policy Futures at the University of Queensland, Australia, and holds, among others, a Doctorate of Philosophy from the European University Viadrina and an Executive Master of Public Management from the Hertie School.
