Adelaida Barrera holds a Bachelor's degree in Cultural Studies and a Master's degree in Philosophy from Universidad de los Andes in Bogotá. At the Hertie School, she studied policy analysis, specialising in quantitative data analysis. During her studies at the Hertie School, she worked as a Teaching Assistant for the Causal Inference course and completed an internship at the WZB Berlin Social Science Center, as part of the LATINNO project on democratic innovations in Latin America. Her previous experience includes working as a Legislative Aide at the Colombian senate and as a Project Lead at a consultancy NGO, where she focused on non-punitive approaches to behavioural change. Adelaida is particularly interested in joining organisations working with data-driven approaches to social change.
