Oliver Klawitter works as Project Coordinator in the Hertie School´s Executive Education department and is responsible for the development and organization of customised executive trainings and the department´s communication strategy. Previously he was heading the Brussels Liaison Office of Kiron Open Higher Education, a non-profit organization with the mission to remove the barriers faced by refugees while accessing higher education. He implemented an EU-funded innovative incubation programme designed to provide migrants and refugees with support in the first steps of their entrepreneurial projects. Before that he worked for the European Commission as a Project Officer at EACEA - Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency. Prior to this, he gained valuable working experience at the University of Alicante, German Chamber of Commerce in Spain, Jung von Matt and Bundestag. He studied Political Science, Media and Communication Studies and holds a master degree in Communication in Social and Economic Context of the Berlin University of the Arts. He speaks German, English, Spanish and French.
