Kristina Hatas specialised in security and sustainability in her International Affairs studies at the Hertie School. She has previously completed a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Law from University of Münster and a Master of Laws in Public International Law from the University of Groningen. During her studies at the Hertie School she worked as a Research Associate in international law for Prof. Başak Çalı and as a coach for the Jessup International Law Moot Court. In addition to her studies, she has been active in the European Law Students' Association, Model United Nations conferences and Moot Courts and has interned at the Swedish Ministry for Foreign Affairs and Amnesty International.
