Timo Meynhardt holds the Dr. Arend Oetker Chair of Business Psychology and Leadership at HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management and is managing director of the Center for Leadership and Values in Society at the University of St. Gallen. At the latter, he obtained his doctorate and habilitation in business administration. He started his career as a practice expert at McKinsey & Company and held a professorship in management at Leuphana University Lueneburg. Professor Meynhardt’s research focuses on public value, i.e. value creation for the common good. He combines psychological and business management subjects such as public value management, leadership and competency diagnostics. He publishes the Public Value Atlas for Switzerland and Germany (www.Gemeinwohlatlas.de), which aims at making transparent the public value of companies and organizations. His Public Value Scorecard provides a management tool to measure public value creation along five basic dimensions.
