Dr. Nils Redeker is a Policy Fellow for European Economic Policy at the Jacques Delors Centre. His work focuses on the Economic and Monetary Union, the European Single Market and Social Europe. Prior to joining the team, Nils taught courses in Political Economy at the University of Zurich and was a Visiting Fellow at the Weatherhead Center for International Affairs at Harvard University. He has also worked as an external consultant in the personal office of the former president of Germany Horst Köhler and was an assistant to an MP in the German Bundestag. Nils has studied political science and economics at the Free University Berlin and the London School of Economics and did a PhD on questions concerning the Euro crisis, global imbalances and economic inequality at the University of Zurich.
