Monika Sus has been a Fellow at the Hertie School since 2015 and a leader of the Dahrendorf Foresight Project. In 2016-17 she was also a Jean Monnet Fellow at the Robert Schuman Centre for Advanced Studies at the European University Institute in Florence. Before coming to Berlin, she held an assistant professor position at the Centre for German and European Studies, which was founded by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), at the University of Wrocław. She has been granted several scholarships and has been a visiting fellow at the University of Leipzig, at the University of Montreal and at the European Union Centre of Excellence at the University in Pittsburgh. She is the co-director of a project on Poland and Germany in the European Union as well a director of a research project on the entrepreneurship in the EU's foreign and security policy. Her work has appeared in the Journal of Common Market Studies, Geopolitics, Global Policy, International Politics, The British Journal of Politics and International Relations as well as Futures (among others).
