Executive Seminars: Combining Concepts with Practical Experience

The seminars combine concepts and practical experience from the juncture of the public, private and non-profit sectors. They provide participants with the opportunity to further develop their management and leadership skills with a diverse cohort of peers and a dedicated, international faculty, which is supported by experienced practitioners from the field. By working on real life cases, participants gain transferable knowledge and develop hands-on management and leadership skills. They are equipped with up-to-date concepts and analytical tools and are enabled to develop key competencies needed for senior management positions. Participants should reserve time to prepare for the course. Follow-up assignments are only required for participants who intend to continue with a Certificate or the Executive MPA programme.

Skills Training: Practical Tools for Challenges on the Job

In addition to conceptual and theoretical abilities, good management also requires strong technical and soft skills. In these compact training sessions, participants develop knowledge and skills that can be directly applied in the workplace. Participants learn how to conduct negotiations, devise and implement projects, to successfully work in and lead teams in different contexts, to mediate conflicts or how to apply analytical techniques of Foresight Analysis. Skills trainings are each two days long and are conducted by experienced trainers from the field. No preparation or follow-up assignment is required.

Credits earned in and tuition fees paid for Executive Seminars and Skills Trainings can be fully transferred to a Certificate programme or the Executive MPA (modular entry).
