The argument is the fundamental building block of recipient-oriented communication. In order to achieve the goal of convincing your opponent, it is necessary to do more than merely stake out a position. In your argumentation, you often have to engage with potential counter-arguments.
In this course participants learn how persuasive arguments are organised and structured. We discuss and practice counter-arguments techniques. Additionally, we examine the art of well-crafted argumentation: strong arguments are even more powerful when combined with an effective sequence.
This course can also be completed as part of the Certificate programmes.
