Policy changes, technological progress, financial pressure and growing interaction with the private sector are confronting organisations with a rising number of challenges for strategic and organisational change. Equally, internal reasons such as leadership turnover or dissatisfaction of staff may contribute to the change of targets, structure, processesor personnel management. Therefore, managers need the ability to participate in or direct organisational change and assess appropriate approaches and tools.
This seminar allows participants to develop an understanding of the different approaches toand pitfalls of organisational change within public organisations in different contexts and countries, and contrasts these with private sector practices. Participants examine at their own experiences and discuss cases introduced by the seminar director and practitioners. They are prepared for the strategic leadership of organisational change processes in real-life situations.
This course can also be completed as part of the Certificate in Leadership and Management, the Certificate in Public Sector Innovation, the Certificate in Stakeholder Communication, or the Certificate in Digital Transformation.

Seminar fees are exempted from tax according to Value Added Tax Act (UStG) §4 Nr. 21a. In Germany and many other countries, tuition fees for continuing education programmes are also fully tax-deductible as professional training expenses.
