Fernanda Ballesteros specialised in data science, economic policy and climate policy during her MPP at the Hertie School. During her Professional Year in the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action, Fernanda worked on the topics of European fiscal and monetary affairs as well as climate and energy topics. After that, Fernanda spent an exchange semester at Bocconi University in Milan. She gained further professional experience at the German Institute for Economic Research (DIW), PwC, the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development as well as smaller consulting firms. Fernanda holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, Sociology and Law from the University of Bonn and participated in an exchange with Sorbonne University in Paris.
