Open Week faculty lecture: Statistics for policymakers

Get a feel for a Hertie School class with Professor of Applied Methods and Comparative Politics Mark Kayser.

We’re excited to kick off the Open Week with a lecture from Prof. Mark Kayser PhD, who teaches the MPP Statistics I: Inference and regression core course. He also leads the Executive MPA core course When to trust the numbers: Informed data consumption.

On Monday 16th January, 18:00-19:00, join us for the lecture: Statistics for policymakers. 

Prof. Mark Kayser is Professor of Applied Methods and Comparative Politics at the Hertie School. His core research interests address the economic underpinnings of democracy, including political accountability, the effects of electoral competition on policy-making, and economic influences on electoral preferences.
