The MPP 2017 alumna shares why she started working at TikTok after graduating from the Hertie School.
Sophie Münzberg graduated from the Hertie School with a Master of Public Policy in 2017 and went on to work at TikTok as a Partnerships Manager for NGOs, Culture, and Education. She sat down with us to share how her education at the Hertie School prepared her for a job in a high-pressure environment, and the importance of soft skills such as intercultural communication.
She reminisces on her fondest Hertie memories, which include creating a food-sharing cooperative. Her advice to current students: breathe, because "you can't do it all at once and you have two years to figure it out".
