Norma Sarahi Resendez Chavez is a PhD candidate at the Research Training Group "The Dynamics of Demography, Democratic Processes and Public Policy" (DYNAMICS). She obtained a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Universidad de Monterrey and a Master of Public Policy from the Hertie School. She has worked at the WZB Berlin Social Science Center as Research Assistant and now as a Research Associate. Her research interests include labor market, gender, family and public health policies. She is particularly interested in understanding how non-standard work schedules affect family dynamics and the mental health of parents and children.
