This course considers the EU institutional set-up in detail and how it affects policy outcomes. One perspective it adopts is that of the lobbyist. If you were to work for Google in their office across from the European Parliament, whom would you approach and when to have your voice heard?
If you have a previous degree that covered the European Union, this course is probably not for you. If you are an exchange student who would like to learn more about the EU, you will not miss out if you know little about the EU before you take this class.
This course is for 2nd year MIA, MPP and MDS students only.
