Lalitambika Kumari specialised in public management, policy advice and social policy during her studies at the Hertie School. Prior to joining the Hertie school, she completed a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Delhi. She is a qualified lawyer who has concentrated her work on constitutional, corporate and international law. Her other professional experience includes working with a Member of Parliament in India, with a governmental think tank and with international organisations. During her studies at the Hertie School, she took part in a semester abroad at the Crawford School of Public Policy at the Australian National University in Canberra, Australia.
